Senior IT Project Manager - Disaster Recovery and Infrastructure Expert
Contract - 3 months

£650 - £750 per day (inside IR35)
Global Resourcing is currently seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to lead a Disaster Recovery project for one of our clients. The project involves reviewing and developing a realistic delivery plan for the client's Disaster Recovery capability in line with their move to cloud services and the decommissioning of old legacy platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage project and/or sprint meetings to ensure projects are tracking to plan, including regular status reporting to the Programme Manager and Delivery Board.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and SME's obtaining buy-in to project work.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among the project team to ensure a common understanding of the project, roles and responsibilities, tasks, risks, issues and dependencies.
- Ensure specification artefacts are accepted and signed off by the management team.
- Manage multiple priorities and deal with ambiguity.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Experience delivering Disaster Recovery projects.
- Experience managing multiple concurrent IT projects, including infrastructure and technical cloud projects.
- Experience in leading projects with a variety of methodologies, including Waterfall and Agile.
- Experience in matrix managing multi-disciplinary teams.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management.
- Solid understanding of infrastructure and technical cloud projects.
