Assembly Operative / Fabricator

Competitive hourly rate: £13.00

Location: Bolton

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

We are seeking a skilled Assembly Operative / Fabricator to join our manufacturing team at a world-leading manufacturer of Fire shutters and rollers.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working on a roller shutter/fire shutter/gates/ barrier production line, although full training will be provided to the right individual.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate machinery to manufacture fire curtains, adhering to Safe Operating procedures at all times.
  • Work well under pressure and to deadlines, ensuring all work areas are kept clean and tidy.
  • Take ownership of product problems or hazards and report them to the Production Manager immediately.
  • Maintain Health & Safety standards, including the wearing of Personal Protective Equipment at all times.
  • Uphold company values and demonstrate a commitment to excellence in all aspects of the role.

Schedule:

  • 8-hour shift (Mon-Thur 7.30AM – 4.30pm) Fri – 7.30am -12.30pm
  • Occasional overtime and Saturday work available
