Assembly Technician

KPI Recruiting Ltd is seeking a skilled Assembly Operative - Soldering Operative to contribute to the success of our client's organization. As a key member of the production team, you will play a vital role in product development and ensuring the smooth operation of production processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and build prototypes, including soldering, mechanical assembly, and testing using industry-standard equipment.
- Work with a range of components, including passives, ICs, and processors with a pitch of 0.5mm.
- Collect and analyze data from long-term experiments and tests to inform product development.
- Understand and adhere to product specifications to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Repair and troubleshoot PCBs from production to minimize downtime and optimize production.
- Assist in the installation and maintenance of production equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Working Hours & Pay:
- £11.50 per hour
- 39 hours per week (Monday to Thursday) with some Fridays available as overtime.
- Standard working hours: 7:30 am - 5:30 pm
