Assembly Operative - Soldering Operative Job Description

KPI Recruiting Ltd is seeking a skilled Assembly Operative - Soldering Operative to join our client's esteemed organization. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in product development and ensure the smooth operation of production.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and build prototypes, including soldering, mechanical assembly, and testing.
  • Work with industry-standard components, such as passives, ICs, and processors with a pitch of 0.5mm.
  • Collect and analyze data from long-term experiments and tests.
  • Understand and adhere to product specifications.
  • Repair and troubleshoot PCBs from production.
  • Assist in building and installing production equipment.
  • Perform regular maintenance of production equipment to ensure efficiency.

Working Hours & Pay:

  • £11.50 per hour
  • 39 hours per week (Monday to Thursday) with some Fridays available as overtime.
  • Standard working hours: 7:30 am - 5:30 pm
