Learning Support Assistant Opportunity

A unique mental health-focused school in Windsor is seeking a Criminology Graduate to join their team as a Learning Support Assistant (LSA). This role offers a chance to provide emotional and therapeutic support to children dealing with childhood trauma, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, attachment disorders, and PTSD.

The ideal candidate will be compassionate, approachable, and passionate about working with vulnerable children. A Criminology or Psychology graduate is ideal for this position, as they can apply their knowledge to understand student behavior, identify triggers for negative behaviors, and recognize underlying learning challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide emotional and therapeutic support to students
  • Work collaboratively with Teachers, Speech Therapists, and Occupational Therapists
  • Implement a therapeutic approach in the classroom
