AWS Solutions Architect

At Bloomberg, we're looking for a skilled Integration Solutions Architect to join our Enterprise Technology Solutions team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for designing, configuring, and deploying integrations between our clients and Bloomberg's premier applications.

With a strong background in front office technologies and capital markets knowledge, you'll be able to craft and deploy solutions for clients utilizing XML/FIX messaging and APIs between their systems and the Bloomberg cloud.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and configuring integrations between trading interfaces and Bloomberg applications
  • Managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Collaborating with external clients to manage expectations and deliver successful integration projects

We're looking for someone with:

  • 5-10 years of experience in a technical role, covering front office technologies in financial institutions or financial vendors
  • Strong experience working with MQ, SFTP, Web API, SWIFT, and FIX
  • Experience in ETL workflows and data transformations using XML/XSLT
  • Ability to engage with external clients and manage expectations

Additionally, we'd love to see:

  • A technology background with some programming/scripting experience
  • Programming skills, e.g. Python, using Code repositories
  • Experience of big data analytics
  • Skills of using WebAPI tools, e.g. Postman
  • AWS and Azure foundational certified
