Job Description

Percival is proud to be partnering with the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) to recruit a skilled Database Manager to join their growing Fundraising Operations team.

The DEC is a unique and dynamic membership organization comprising 15 of the UK's leading humanitarian agencies, launching appeals in response to humanitarian emergencies. This role has been created to guide the fundraising and marketing teams in maximizing the potential of data to improve fundraising performance and supporter experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of the database and associated data systems and processes across the secretariat.
  • Lead the development of data strategies to provide insights and improve fundraising efforts and supporter retention.
  • Oversee reporting and analysis using Salesforce or similar platforms.
  • Ensure adherence to Data Protection and Fundraising Regulations, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant policies.
  • Collaborate with the Fundraising Operations team to achieve strategic objectives.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrable experience developing data strategies and advising on best practices.
  • Prior experience using Salesforce or similar platforms in the non-profit sector.
  • Data selection and analysis skills, including data profiling, segmentation, and selections.
  • Experience with data protection and fundraising regulations.
  • Line management experience (desirable).
