Job Title: Senior Engineering Geologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Engineering Geologist to join our team at Ian Farmer Associates, a leading geotechnical and geo-environmental site investigation company.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead ground investigation crews, including cable percussion, rotary, and window sampling crews
  • Oversee trial pitting and logging of soil and rock to BS5930 / Eurocode 7
  • Manage groundwater and gas monitoring
  • Develop Phase 1 Desk Studies and assist in the preparation of Factual and Interpretive Reports
  • Apply good project management skills to ensure successful project delivery
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in the industry
  • Geology / earth sciences degree or a master's degree in engineering geology or geotechnical engineering
  • Full UK driving license and willingness to travel
  • CSCS Card and First Aid Training
  • SSSTS
