Ian Farmer Associates, a leading geotechnical and geo-environmental site investigation company, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineering Geologist to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising ground investigation crews, including cable percussion, rotary, and window sampling crews, as well as logging soil and rock to BS5930 / Eurocode 7.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise ground investigation crews
  • Log soil and rock to BS5930 / Eurocode 7
  • Conduct groundwater and gas monitoring
  • Produce Phase 1 Desk Studies
  • Assist in the preparation of Factual and Interpretive Reports

Requirements:

  • Experience within the industry
  • Geology / earth sciences degree or master's degree in engineering geology or geotechnical engineering
  • Full UK driving license
  • Willingness to travel and work away from home
