Geological Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Geologist to join our team at Ian Farmer Associates. As a key member of our ground investigation team, you will be responsible for leading and managing ground investigation projects, including supervision of ground investigation crews, project management, and production of Phase 1 Desk Studies.
Responsibilities:- Supervise and manage ground investigation crews, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Lead and manage project teams, including geologists, engineers, and technicians.
- Develop and implement project plans, including risk assessments and quality control measures.
- Conduct site investigations, including trial pitting and logging of soil and rock.
- Produce high-quality reports, including Phase 1 Desk Studies and Factual and Interpretive Reports.
- Geology or earth sciences degree.
- Proven experience in ground investigation and project management.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
