We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Engineering Geologist to join our team at Ian Farmer Associates, a leading geotechnical and geo-environmental site investigation company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage ground investigation crews, including cable percussion, rotary, and window sampling crews
  • Conduct trial pitting and logging of soil and rock to BS5930 / Eurocode 7
  • Oversee groundwater and gas monitoring
  • Produce Phase 1 Desk Studies and assist in the preparation of Factual and Interpretive Reports
  • Develop and implement effective project management strategies

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in the geotechnical and geo-environmental industry
  • Geology or earth sciences degree, or a master's degree in engineering geology or geotechnical engineering
  • Full UK driving license and willingness to travel
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
