At DeverellSmith, we are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our residential developments. About the Role

As Maintenance Operations Manager, you will be responsible for collaborating with the Maintenance Manager to provide a best-in-class building and maintenance management service. You will manage and coordinate the workload of the maintenance department, ensuring the highest quality of customer service while maintaining the landlord's assets in the most cost-effective and efficient manner. Key Responsibilities

  1. Work closely with the Maintenance Manager to ensure full coordination of works and activities required in the department are executed in an efficient and consistent manner.
  2. Ensure the highest possible levels of customer service are consistently delivered, to both internal and external customers.
  3. Ensure that the tech/software systems selected to aid with department activities are fully utilized and ingrained within how the maintenance team carries out their activities.
  4. Manage maintenance works in the landlord areas to ensure the entire building's maintenance needs are fulfilled.
  5. When required, lead and cover the Maintenance department from time to time in the absence of the Maintenance Manager.


About You

We are looking for a highly strategic and experienced Maintenance Operations Manager with a proven track record in the maintenance field. You will have excellent customer service capabilities, be well-presented, and emotionally intelligent. You will also have good knowledge and understanding of managing contractors and facilities/maintenance-related management contracts. Perks of the Job
