About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Control Systems Engineer to join our team at Consilium Recruit. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing control systems for our clients in the clean energy sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and develop control systems architectures to meet client requirements.
  2. Develop and test control systems software using a model-based approach.
  3. Ensure seamless integration of electrical systems with control systems.
  4. Conduct safety assessments and implement robust design processes.
  5. Design and deploy innovative test control systems and rigs.
  6. Support prototype builds and work with customers to ensure successful project delivery.
  7. Generate validation plans from system requirements.
  8. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure their needs are met.
  9. Manage projects from conception to completion and customer handover.
  10. Develop and maintain accurate reporting templates for communication of system models.

Requirements:

  1. Degree qualified or similar in engineering.
  2. At least 5 years of experience as a Controls Systems Engineer.
  3. Proven experience in writing system and software specifications.
  4. Self-motivated, creative, and adaptive team player with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  5. Ability to take on roles, responsibilities, and challenges required to achieve company goals and objectives.
