The Role

  1. Design and develop system architectures to meet client requirements.
  2. Design, test, and implement control systems software using a model-based approach.
  3. Ensure seamless integration of electrical systems to optimize performance.
  4. Conduct thorough safety assessments and implement robust design processes to mitigate risks.
  5. Design and deploy innovative test control systems and rigs to support prototype development.
  6. Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
  7. Develop and maintain comprehensive validation plans from system requirements.
  8. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure successful project outcomes.
  9. Manage projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
  10. Create and maintain reporting templates for effective communication of system models.

The Ideal Candidate

  1. Hold a degree in engineering or a related field.
  2. Have a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Controls Systems Engineer.
  3. Proven experience in writing system and software specifications.
  4. Be a self-motivated, creative, and adaptable team player.
  5. Be willing to take on additional roles, responsibilities, and challenges to achieve company goals.
  6. Possess excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
