Payroll Officer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Officer to join our team at Insite Finance. As a Payroll Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll, maintaining employee records, and handling payroll-related queries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Maintain payroll records, including timesheets, tax information, and benefits.
  • Handle PAYE, NI, and pension contributions, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee payroll enquiries.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end payroll reporting (P60s, P45s, P11Ds).
  • Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure accurate data management.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Proven experience in a similar payroll role.
  • Strong understanding of UK payroll legislation.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines.

The successful candidate will be an experienced Payroller with a strong track record of producing high-quality payroll outputs. You will be a great team player and able to commute to our offices for this hybrid role.

Salary: up to £35,000
