Job OverviewThis is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Business Development Territory Growth Specialist. Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will be responsible for managing a regional territory in the acquisition of both Petrol Filling Station wholesale fuel supply and leasehold contracts.
Responsibilities- Market Analysis: Understand the Retail Fuels market, including key players and trends.
- Sales Strategy Implementation: Develop and implement sales strategies to drive Retail territorial growth, focusing on signing both wholesale (branded) fuel supply and long-tenure petrol station lease contracts.
- Target Achievement: Achieve Key Performance Indicator (KPI) growth targets set for the territory, conducting bi-weekly sales reviews to monitor progress.
- Relationship Building: Establish strong relationships with existing and prospective Dealer customers to optimize sales and grow a pool of potential Commission Operators to run sites.
- Catchment & Competitor Analysis: Maintain accurate and complete Catchment & Competitor analysis and Financial Models.
- Sales Proposals: Formulate sales proposals, negotiate, close, and onboard contracts promptly.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Network Planning, On-boarding, and Legal colleagues to implement commercially agreed contracts.
- CRM System Maintenance: Ensure the CRM system and all sales-related documentation are always accurate, complete, and up-to-date.
- Policies and Processes: Adhere to sales policies and processes.
- Mandatory Skills: In-depth knowledge of the UK Retail Fuels sector, including the market, retailers, and competitors.
- Essential Experience: Proven ability to implement sales growth plans, with a record of success.
- Sales Expertise: Practiced negotiator and influencer with a record of sales success, closing long-tenure contracts.
- Relationship Builder: Strong relationship builder and networker, with excellent external and internal communication skills.
- Time Management: Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively, with good time management and organizational skills.
