Role Overview: Support and Enablement Worker

We are seeking a dedicated Support and Enablement Worker to join our team at a mainstream primary school in Wandsworth, London. As a Support and Enablement Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting a student with severe physical disabilities, enabling them to access the curriculum and participate in classroom activities.

You will work closely with the student and their family to understand their needs and develop strategies to support them. You will also work collaboratively with the teaching staff to ensure that the student receives the best possible support and enablement.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 support for a student with severe physical disabilities, assisting with mobility and physical tasks throughout the school day
- Develop and implement strategies to support the student in accessing the curriculum and participating in classroom activities

Requirements:
- Experience working with children with physical disabilities is highly desirable, but not essential
- A compassionate, patient, and proactive approach to supporting students with additional needs

Salary and Benefits:
£480 per week, paid pro-rata on a PAYE basis. Work in a supportive and inclusive school environment, where all staff are committed to student development.
