Facilities Maintenance Specialist

We are looking for a motivated and skilled Facilities Maintenance Specialist to join our team at the Defra Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support for the ante and post-mortem examination of large animals and poultry, including the sampling and humane euthanasia of livestock using appropriate methods.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in a scientific environment, possess dissection/anatomy skills, and be a good communicator with excellent teamwork abilities. Additionally, they should be proficient in common software applications and hold a BTEC HNC/BSc degree or equivalent technical qualifications in biological/biomedical/bioveterinary science.
This role comes with an estimated salary of £28,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience, and includes benefits such as an Employee Assistance Programme, access to the Civil Service Benevolent Fund, and a Civil Service Pension.
