About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Recovery Worker to join our team at HMP Lincoln. As a key member of our team, you will provide support and advice to individuals experiencing difficulties due to substance misuse.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement personalized recovery plans with clients to help them achieve their goals
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to clients, promoting a safe and non-judgmental environment
  • Collaborate with other social care services to ensure comprehensive support for clients
  • Conduct assessments and maintain accurate records of client progress
  • Work effectively with clients to identify and address underlying issues contributing to substance misuse
  • Support clients in developing coping strategies and skills to maintain long-term recovery
Requirements
  • ONC/NVQ level 3 or equivalent qualification in a relevant field
  • Experience working in a health, social care, or related setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
