JAM Recruitment invites applications from experienced engineers for the position of Principal Electrical Services Engineer.
About the RoleWe are looking for a highly skilled professional to join our team in Devonport, working on a hybrid basis with onsite visits required every two weeks. The contract duration is 29 weeks initially.
As a Principal Electrical Services Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to assist the Discipline Lead in delivering electrical engineering work packages, ensuring they meet the required scope, quality, schedule, and cost.
Your tasks will include:
- Preparing and/or checking designs, analyses, reports, drawings, specifications, and other documents in support of Nuclear and Non-Nuclear related plant, facilities, and equipment.
- Supporting the development, construction, installation, commissioning, operation, and maintenance of Facilities to ensure compliance with design intent, DNSP's, local and national regulations, and legislation.
- Degree or HND in an appropriate engineering discipline.
- Chartered Engineer, registered with Engineering Council or working towards chartership.
- Minimum 10 years industry experience, ideally in Nuclear or Defence.
- Experience in designing electrical building services, including fire detection and alarm systems, industrial lighting, emergency lighting, site broadcast (PA), and HVAC.
