We are seeking an Academic Professional in Construction Management to join our team at GBS Global Applied Knowledge. As a Lecturer in Construction Management, you will be responsible for educating and inspiring students in the principles and practices of construction project management.
Your role will involve teaching courses on project planning, risk management, sustainability, and construction technologies. You will develop comprehensive course materials, oversee student projects, and stay abreast of industry trends and advancements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, update, and improve course materials as appropriate
- Use a variety of learning and teaching methods/materials including live online learning
- Attend meetings as required, to contribute to the decision-making process and to develop productive working relationships within the various teams you will be engaged with
- Understand and keep up to date with student support to ensure our students have the full support and guidance they need
Requirements:
- An honours degree in construction management, project management or equivalent
- A Postgraduate Certificate of Academic Practice or equivalent teaching qualification
- Previous lecturing experience for similar courses
- Experience supervising student work and providing support and feedback
We are looking for a highly motivated and able individual who is able to work with minimum supervision and has excellent communication, interpersonal and team-working skills.
