Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join our team. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will be responsible for assisting the Store Manager in leading the team and maintaining high standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Store Manager in leading the team and maintaining store standards
  • Be a role model for delivering a world-class customer experience and train the team to consistently deliver this
  • Create an engaging working environment for colleagues
  • Develop the best team possible by planning succession strategies
  • Provide on-the-spot feedback and celebrate success

Visual Merchandising

  • Support in delivering meticulous store presentation and implementing visual merchandising standards that align with the Sports Direct brand

Sales and Operations

  • Drive store performance to its maximum potential and lead the team to achieve results and go beyond set goals
  • Ensure the team is efficient in following best practice to support the delivery of commercial goals and brand knowledge
