Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Year 5 SEND Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Vision for Education - Sheffield. In this role, you will be working closely with a teacher and other support staff to deliver tailored education plans and support a student with moderate learning difficulties in a year 5 class.

About the Role:

  • To work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement tailored education plans.
  • To assist with lesson planning, delivery, and assessment, as well as providing one-to-one tuition when needed.
  • To contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes social, emotional, and academic growth.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of Level 2 Teaching Assistant Qualification and/or relevant experience working with primary school-aged children.
  • Strong behavior management skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A genuine passion for working with children with SEND and a commitment to their educational success.
