About the Role
  • Deliver tailored support for a child with potential special educational needs.
  • Plan and lead engaging activities for groups and individuals.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a positive and productive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement targeted interventions to meet the needs of pupils.
  2. Design and deliver inclusive lessons in subjects like Phonics, Reading, Maths, and Writing.
  3. Work closely with students to promote social and emotional growth.
  4. Create engaging learning materials and resources.
  5. Monitor progress and record data.
  6. Contribute to daily routines and administrative tasks.
  7. Engage with parents and carers to share progress and feedback.
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
  • A strong track record of working in UK primary schools.
  • Relevant qualifications such as Supporting in Early Years, Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools (Level 2) or degrees in Education Studies, Psychology, etc.
  • Current Safeguarding and Prevent training.
Eligibility Requirements:
  • Right to Work in the UK.
  • An Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to apply) and proof of registration with the online update service.
  • Two professional references covering the last 2 years.

Estimated Salary: £32,500 per annum
