Independent End Point Assessor for Systems Engineer Apprenticeship

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Independent End Point Assessor to join our team at Pearson. As an Independent End Point Assessor, you will play a critical role in ensuring that apprentices meet the rigorous standards set by employers and are fully competent in the relevant occupation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess the performance of candidates in accordance with published assessment and grading criteria and procedures.
- Act as chair of the Synoptic EPA panel and make final judgement when all panel members are not in agreement.
- Notify Pearson of the outcome of the assessment and ensure that all EPA reports and assessment evidence are high quality and recorded accurately.
- Support Pearson with any appeals from apprentices regarding assessment decisions.
Requirements:
- Experience of complying with quality assurance/regulatory requirements.
- Evidence of commitment to maintaining CPD, in line with new apprenticeship requirements and the EPA specialism.
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills, including the ability to effectively respond to conflicts.
- Sufficient and relevant technical knowledge of industry structure and processes, employment context, relevant legal, regulatory and competency frameworks, systems, tools, equipment, machinery and processes used within relevant roles.
