Expert Systems Engineer End Point Assessor

About the Role:
The Independent End Point Assessor for Systems Engineering will be responsible for conducting end-point assessments of apprentices in the Systems Engineering occupation. This role requires a high level of technical knowledge and expertise in systems engineering, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct end-point assessments of apprentices in accordance with published assessment and grading criteria and procedures
- Act as chair of the Synoptic EPA panel
- Make final judgement when all panel members are not in agreement
- Notify Pearson of the outcome of the assessment
- Follow the protocols set out in Pearson's specifications, assessment materials and quality assurance protocols, relating to the EPAs
Requirements:
- Expert level systems engineer with a strong understanding of systems engineering principles and practices
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to assess and report risks
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Personal IT equipment capable of running Pearson required software
- Personal and secure email account
- Right to work in the UK
