We are seeking an experienced Senior Nurse to join our team as Matron and Clinical Lead for the Emergency Department and Acute Wards. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop your leadership skills and contribute to the delivery of excellent patient care.
Job Summary
">The successful candidate will provide clinical leadership and management across the Emergency Department and Acute Wards. You will be responsible for ensuring that high standards of care are maintained, and that the nursing staff within your remit operate effectively.
About the Role
">This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced Senior Nurse to join our team. As Matron and Clinical Lead, you will play a key role in shaping the future of our department and contributing to the development of our nursing strategy.
Responsibilities
">- Care Provision: To ensure that the quality of nursing care is maintained at all times, you will work closely with the Directorate's Divisional Director of Nursing and Head of Nursing to address any issues that may arise.
- Risk and Clinical Governance: You will lead on managing and monitoring complaints and adverse incidents, ensuring that risk assessments are undertaken, and action plans are implemented to prevent reoccurrence.
- Leadership and Management: You will provide professional and clinical leadership within the Emergency Department and acute wards, working closely with the Head of Nursing to achieve high-quality patient care.

Salary and Benefits
">The salary for this role is approximately £85,000 - £100,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including a generous pension scheme and opportunities for professional development.
