Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Multi-Site Groundworks Supervisor to oversee Groundworkers and Groundworker Team Leaders on various projects across multiple retail sites.

About the Role: As a key member of our Specialist Services Team, you will be responsible for ensuring teams work safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company protocols, driving quality and performance standards while managing people, compliance, and health & safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Manage and lead multiple teams of Groundworkers and Groundworker Supervisors across various sites within the UK, ensuring they meet high performance and safety standards.
  • People Management: Take responsibility for the day-to-day management of on-site staff, including performance management, disciplinary actions, and team development.
  • Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure all site activities comply with health and safety standards, company policies, and relevant legislation.
  • Performance Auditing and Quality Control: Regularly audit the quality of work completed by your teams, ensuring it meets the required high standards.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by managing the impact of works on public spaces and ensuring timely, professional completion of projects with minimal disruption to the client's operations.

Requirements:

  • Proven Leadership and People Management Experience: Experience managing teams within the groundworks or construction sector, with a strong focus on people management, performance evaluation, and development.
  • Health & Safety Expertise: A strong understanding of health and safety regulations, specifically within construction and groundworks, and experience implementing safety protocols on-site.
  • Relevant Certifications: IOSH Managing Safely certification is essential. You should also hold a management or supervisor's CSCS card and must have either an SMSTS or SSSTS CITB certification.
  • Organisational Skills: Strong time management and organisational skills, with the ability to oversee multiple sites and ensure consistency across teams.
