Pay Rate: £22 Per Hour

The Role:

As a key member of a multidisciplinary team, the successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and meeting the needs of vulnerable adults within the context of self-directed support and personalisation.

The post holder will manage an independent caseload, assessing individuals with physical disabilities, sensory impairment, mental ill health, and learning disabilities.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Providing appropriate equipment, minor and major adaptations, and assistive technology
  • Planning and implementing re-ablement programmes

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A strong understanding of the role of an occupational therapist in a community setting
  • Knowledge of disability issues
  • A full driving licence and access to a vehicle
