Financial Operations Specialist

Job Summary
West Herts College is seeking a skilled Financial Operations Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining profit and loss accounts, budgets, and cash flow forecasts, as well as producing and reporting financial information for managers.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including profit and loss accounts, budgets, and cash flow forecasts.
- Produce and report financial information for managers, including financial statements and analysis.
- Liaise with clients to ensure timely payments and credit limits are not exceeded.
- Monitor accounting systems to ensure effective maintenance of financial records.
- Provide information on accounting practices to auditors.
Educational Requirements
There are no formal academic requirements for this role. Professional qualifications are available from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and the Association of Accounting Technicians. These qualifications can be linked to NVQs/SVQs in Accounting at Levels 2, 3, and 4.
