Job Overview:

Rapid Recruitment Services is seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Specialist to drive financial strategy and performance within the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the full spectrum of accounting operations, including purchase and sales ledger management, supplier and customer interactions, and expense processing.
  • Prepare and analyse financial reports, including profit and loss accounts, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Manage payroll, commission calculations, timesheets, and credit control processes.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including VAT and corporation tax returns.
  • Support the sales and service departments by providing financial data and analysis.
  • Participate in the budgeting and forecasting process, providing financial insights to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Assist with the management and development of the accounting team.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desirable Skills:

  • Qualified accountant or Part Qualified.
  • Experience in a similar role.
  • Strong IT skills.
