Job Summary

The Programme and Project Specialist will provide specialist hands-on support for programme and project managers at Capita. This role involves promoting programme and project management methods and standards, and implementing best practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operationalising and running the Acceptance into Service (AIS) process to ensure quality and rigor in service delivery.
  • Continuous improvement of Capita's network Supplier Solution to ensure services are delivered and non-compliant areas are addressed.
  • Assisting in the development and maintenance of account control procedures and tools for access and WAN solutions in the transport industry.
  • Providing analytical support for account cost control, scheduling, and risk management.
  • Preparing regular reports and dashboards for change performance monitoring.
  • Participating in account planning and review meetings, offering insights and recommendations.
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of best practices in account controls.

Requirements

  • Intermediate to advanced Excel, MS Project, and SharePoint skills.
  • Power BI knowledge desirable.
  • Strong communicator (written and oral).
  • Independent thinker who can take initiative.
  • Experience working on WAN/LAN projects is helpful.
