About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Children's Occupational Therapist to join our team at Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust. As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality occupational therapy services to children and young people with a range of needs and abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose children's occupational performance needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Deliver occupational therapy interventions to children and young people in a variety of settings, including schools, clinics, and community settings.
- Supervise and support Occupational Therapy Technicians and Integrated Therapy Assistants.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support for children and young people.
- Participate in clinical audits and research to improve occupational therapy services and outcomes.
Requirements:
- Degree in Occupational Therapy and HCPC registration.
- Experience working with children and young people with a range of needs and abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
