Paraplanner Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Paraplanner to join our team at Lime People Search & Select Ltd, a fully Independent Chartered Financial Advisory firm based in Chester. As a Paraplanner, you will play a crucial role in providing technical support to our Advisers and designing, developing, and implementing comprehensive financial plans that exceed clients' expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Client Portfolio Analysis: Prepare in-depth analysis of clients' existing portfolios to identify areas for improvement and optimize their financial plans.
  • Technical Support: Provide expert technical support to our Advisers, ensuring they have the necessary tools and resources to deliver exceptional client service.
  • Calculations and Research: Complete complex calculations, including income tax, IHT, Capital Gains Tax, Lifetime Allowance, Pension Annual Allowance, and Carry Forward, to inform client recommendations.
  • Recommendation Reports: Prepare detailed Recommendation Reports and supplementary documentation to support client decisions.
  • Compliance and Regulatory: Adhere to our compliance procedures, core values, and high standards of client service, ensuring we meet regulatory requirements and personal development needs.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of financial products and markets to stay ahead of industry developments.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: Fully qualified and experienced Paraplanner with a minimum of 3-4 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Experience: Proven track record of delivering high-quality Paraplanning support to Advisers and clients.
  • Skills: Excellent technical skills, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
