Job Title: Registration Officer

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Registration Officer to join our team in Bristol. The successful candidate will provide essential administrative support and ensure smooth operations in the registration office.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Handle general administrative duties, including answering customer calls and assisting visitors in person.
  • Schedule appointments for the registration of births, deaths, and notices of marriage or civil partnership.
  • Utilize IT systems, including Microsoft Office and specialized registration programs.
  • Process payments for ceremonies over the phone.
  • Prepare and copy certificates for incoming applications.
  • Register marriages at the register office.
  • Maintain neat handwriting and clear communication in English.
Requirements:
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and registration software.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service abilities.
  • Fluent in English with neat handwriting.
