Assignment Duration: 26 weeks fulltime (37 hours per week)

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Registration Officer to provide essential administrative support and ensure smooth operations in the registration office. The successful candidate will interact with the public, manage appointments, handle payments, and perform registration duties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle general administrative duties, including answering customer calls and assisting visitors in person.
  • Schedule appointments for the registration of births, deaths, and notices of marriage or civil partnership.
  • Utilize IT systems, including Microsoft Office and specialized registration programs.
  • Process payments for ceremonies over the phone.
  • Prepare and copy certificates for incoming applications.
  • Register marriages at the register office.
  • Maintain neat handwriting and clear communication in English.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and registration software.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service abilities.
  • Fluent in English with neat handwriting.
