Assistant Farm Manager - Poultry Farm

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Assistant Farm Manager to join our client's dynamic team in Carlisle. As a key member of the farm management team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the farm operates at the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

The Job
  • Manage ventilation, heating, feed, water, and lighting systems to create an optimal environment for poultry growth and health.
  • Keep accurate and detailed records of bird health, food supplies, and supplier interactions.
  • Use your expertise to make sound decisions autonomously, especially when covering for the Farm Manager.
The Candidate
  • Previous management or supervisory experience in poultry production.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with the farm team.

  • Competitive salary of £30,500.
