Job Title: Assistant Poultry Farm Manager-Laying Farm

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Assistant Poultry Farm Manager to join our client's dynamic team in Carlisle. As a key member of the farm management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency in poultry production.

The Job

As an Assistant Poultry Farm Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing ventilation, heating, feed, water, and lighting to create an optimal environment for poultry growth and health.
  • Keeping accurate and detailed records of bird health, food supplies, and supplier interactions.
  • Using your expertise to make sound decisions autonomously, especially when covering for the Farm Manager.
The Candidate

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Previous management or supervisory experience in poultry production.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work autonomously and make sound decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
