Job Title: Assistant Poultry Farm Manager-Laying Farm

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Assistant Poultry Farm Manager to join our client's dynamic team in Carlisle. As a key member of the farm management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency in the farm's operations.

The Job

As an Assistant Poultry Farm Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing the farm's ventilation, heating, feed, water, and lighting systems to create an optimal environment for the birds.
  • Keeping accurate and detailed records of bird health, food supplies, and supplier interactions.
  • Using your expertise to make sound decisions autonomously, especially when covering for the Farm Manager.
The Candidate

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Previous management or supervisory experience in poultry.
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously when required to cover the Farm Manager.
  • Excellent communication skills.
The Package

We offer a competitive salary of £30,500 and a bonus scheme. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to live on-site in a 3-bedroom property.
