Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and supportive Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Connex Education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to pupils with their learning in a classroom setting
  • Collaborate with the class teacher to create an inclusive and engaging learning environment
  • Assist in the implementation of behaviour management strategies to ensure a positive classroom atmosphere
  • Contribute to the development of pupils' skills and confidence through one-on-one support
  • Work effectively with teachers, parents, and other staff to provide a holistic support service

Requirements:

  • Prior experience working with children in an educational setting is desirable
  • Demonstrate patience, empathy, and a positive attitude towards supporting pupils' achievement
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • A DBS check is required for this role
