Job Description

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Newcastle and Stafford Colleges Group.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist students with disabilities or learning difficulties in their work and daily activities
  • Prepare rooms, equipment, and materials for lessons and activities
  • Track learner progress and provide individual support as needed
  • Attend to the health, safety, physical, and hygiene needs of students

Requirements:

  • Level 2 in Literacy and Numeracy (GCSE equivalent)
  • Relevant experience or qualifications in an education or caring capacity
  • Good knowledge of safeguarding and equal opportunities
