Teaching Assistant Opportunity in Winsford

We are seeking two dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistants to join our team at a mainstream primary school in Winsford. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in a designated resource provision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with the class teacher and other support staff to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
  • Provide individual and group support to pupils to help them make academic progress.
  • Assist with lesson planning and implementation to ensure the needs of all pupils are met.
Requirements:
  • Strong background working with children and experience with SEND.
  • Ability to work closely with pupils on a 1:1 and group basis.
  • Proof of Right to Work, a CV covering 10 years of education or employment, and a fully enhanced DBS certificate or willingness to process one.
