Facilities Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities Manager to join our team at Resourcing Group. As a key member of our estates service, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers, providing timely and effective support to meet their needs.
- Monitor and manage major projects and maintenance works, ensuring minimal disruption to staff and students.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including school and departmental leaders.
- Provide regular updates and reports on ongoing works and impacts in your buildings, scheduled meetings, and potential risks.
- Line manage a Facilities Coordinator, overseeing their day-to-day administration tasks and providing guidance and support as needed.
- Oversee and facilitate events, general teaching space, and other ad-hoc business needs in your zone.
- Work closely with other estates service lines to ensure excellent customer service standards and reliable service delivery.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in facilities management or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
