Care Support Worker

Lancashire County Council provides support services for older people and adults living with dementia, operating 16 care homes and 13 day centers across Lancashire.

Job DescriptionThis part-time role is responsible for providing care to adults in our care homes and day centers. The successful candidate will have the right values, attitude, and behaviours to support our vision of being the best quality service.
- This role involves working 18 hours per week on a rota basis, including evenings and weekends.
- The successful candidate will be required to apply to the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) for a 'disclosure'.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A strong commitment to supporting older people and adults living with dementia.
- An ability to work well as part of a team and communicate effectively.
- The willingness to undertake training and development opportunities.
