About the Job
Are you passionate about providing top-notch care and support to older individuals? Do you have a can-do attitude and excellent communication skills? As a Bank Care Assistant at Barchester Healthcare, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our residents receive the highest standard of care.
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily living tasks, such as supporting residents with food and drink and following care plans.
- Provide one-to-one time and companionship to each resident, creating meaningful moments and memories.
- Promote a fulfilling environment by delivering compassionate care and support.
Requirements
- Previous experience in caring for older people.
- A positive, flexible approach and exceptional communication skills.
- The ability to work varied hours, including bank shifts, to cover annual leave or sick leave.

Salary
We offer a competitive salary, estimated to be around £20,000 - £25,000 per annum, depending on location and experience. In addition to a rewarding salary, you'll also enjoy true flexibility and plenty of free learning and development opportunities.
