Job Title: Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our team at OVHcloud. As a key member of our Industry Business Unit, you will play a crucial role in designing and delivering server resources and infrastructure.

In this position, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining datacenter power and cooling systems, ensuring high levels of service quality and competitive pricing while meeting customer deadlines.

Main Responsibilities
  • Critical Infrastructure Monitoring: Install, maintain, and monitor critical infrastructure monitoring systems to ensure seamless operations.
  • Critical Power and Cooling Systems: Deploy, maintain, and manage critical power and cooling infrastructure systems, including UPS, Generators, and LV/MV distribution.
  • Planned Preventative Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks as per best practice guidelines and schedules.
  • Reactive Maintenance: Address urgent issues and perform necessary repairs promptly.
  • Emergency On-Call Rota: Participate in a 24/7 on-call rota to provide emergency support when needed.
  • Spare Stock Management: Oversee spares stock management for critical infrastructure components.
  • Continual Improvement Initiatives: Contribute to ongoing improvement initiatives through effective communication and feedback.
  • Third-Party Specialist Contractors: Manage third-party specialist contractors for planned and reactive maintenance visits.

  • Familiarize yourself with OVH proprietary cooling and electrical distribution systems.
  • Demonstrate competency in performing basic preventive maintenance tasks.

  • Complete initial mandatory training courses.

In one year, you can anticipate:

  • Participating in the on-call rota and taking on more responsibility.
  • Becoming autonomous in performing maintenance tasks.
  • Supervising contractors' works and ensuring smooth project execution.
