Lead Support Worker

As a Team Leader at Rethink Mental Illness, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in people's lives by leading and managing our teams to deliver high-quality mental health services.
About the RoleIn this key leadership role, you'll work closely with our service users, colleagues, and stakeholders to ensure we provide effective and compassionate support. Your primary focus will be on leading and managing our teams, ensuring they have the resources and guidance needed to deliver outstanding services.
You'll collaborate with our service users, families, and carers to understand their needs and preferences, and develop innovative solutions to address these. This may involve working with local authorities, community groups, and other stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement and develop new services.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage our teams to ensure they're equipped to deliver high-quality services;
- Develop and implement strategies to improve service delivery, quality, and outcomes;
- Collaborate with service users, families, and carers to understand their needs and preferences;
- Work with local authorities, community groups, and other stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement and develop new services;
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, policies, and procedures;
- Monitor and evaluate service performance, making recommendations for improvement;
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A strong background in mental health services, including experience in leadership or management roles;
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills;
- Able to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders, including service users, families, and carers;
- Ability to lead and motivate teams, ensuring they're equipped to deliver high-quality services;
- Strong analytical and evaluation skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions;
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements, policies, and procedures relevant to mental health services;
We offer a competitive salary of £38,000 - £42,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits, including:
