We have an exciting and rewarding opportunity for a Wake Night Support Worker to join our friendly and welcoming team working at our service Capper Close in Newton Poppleford You will work as part of a small team in a home from home environment where no two days will be the same.

This service provides housing-related support for people with high support needs. The purpose of the service is to enable people placed out of area to return to Devon. The service aims to support people in gaining the skills they need to live independently.

**How will you make a difference?**
- Prompting with personal care
- Supporting with medication
- Providing encouragement with household tasks such as laundry, cooking and cleaning
- Supporting to learn new skills, achieve their goals and ambitions
- Assisting people pursue their interests and hobbies
- Working with other mental health professionals and the family/friends of the person being supported

**What are we looking for?**

You will have strong communication skills and a understanding of mental illness. But aside from that, being a Support Worker isn’t all about qualifications, if you have a passion for making a difference then we can provide you will all the training and support that you need. You can also take us up on our offer to support you through your NVQ in Health and Social Care qualification
