Mechanical Project Specialist

We are seeking a Packaging Solutions Developer to join our team at Austin Fraser. As a key member of our operations and lead design team, you will be responsible for managing multiple cradle-to-grave projects from concept to completion. Your expertise in CAD packages, particularly SolidWorks, will be essential in producing high-quality designs and technical specifications.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, with experience in machine component and sheet metal/folding techniques. A keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills will also be required to work effectively with our manufacturing and installation teams.
Job Description:This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Packaging Solutions Developer. You will be responsible for designing and developing bespoke labelling and sleeving systems, working closely with our manufacturing and installation teams to deliver high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and develop bespoke labelling and sleeving systems
- Manage multiple cradle-to-grave projects from concept to completion
- Collaborate with manufacturing and installation teams to deliver high-quality products

We offer a competitive salary of up to £35,000 per annum, plus a comprehensive benefits package, including 24 days holiday plus bank holidays and company pension.
