Senior Room Attendant

We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic person to become part of our talented housekeeping team at the exclusive Ballygally Castle. As a Senior Room Attendant, you will have the opportunity to work with our friendly team, develop your skills, and enjoy the variety offered by a role in hospitality.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise the work of housekeeping cleaners to ensure the bedrooms and corridors have been cleaned to the hotel's standards.
- Ensure the floor and trolley stocks are checked and maintained, ordering replacement stocks as necessary.
- Provide training and coaching to housekeeping cleaners to ensure they have the necessary skills to perform their job.
- Perform a variety of housekeeping cleaning activities as required.
- Ensure quality standards and procedures are fully understood and implemented, and daily checking procedures are correctly applied.
- Be knowledgeable about the facilities and services within the hotel and be proactive in the sale of these to guests.
- Assist guests with any reasonable request for hotel services, respond to complaints, and find the appropriate solution.
- Maintain the security of bedrooms and stock, immediately reporting any breaches and dealing with lost property in accordance with hotel procedures.
- Ensure all equipment and materials are used in the correct manner and any problems are reported immediately.
- Ensure a safe environment is maintained in compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene policies and procedures.
- Report any technical and maintenance needs.
- Work effectively with colleagues to ensure a harmonious working environment where all employees are treated with respect and dignity.
- Right to Work in the United Kingdom.
- Good Command of English Language.
- A clean and tidy appearance.
- Must have excellent attention to detail.
- Work well under pressure and be a team player.
- Educated to GCSE Standard or the equivalent, including English and Maths.
